A visitor account describes rock-hopping across, walking west on an old road past Moonshiners Falls to the next major side stream, then following a scramble path up that stream to a cave near the base of Cave Falls. The same account names the drop below the main falls Lower Cave Falls and notes fallen trees around it. There is no official trail beyond the river. Return the same way.
