Rosecrans Falls is a 20-foot falls on Spruce Run near Loganton, on Lock Haven Water Authority land managed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, where hiking is permitted. From the parking area, start at the Public Access sign, stay to its left, go down the stream bank and rock-hop to the left side of Spruce Run as soon as you can. Follow the stream through open hemlock forest to the falls, then pick a safe spot to descend the bank below them. A small private parcel lies next to the falls; McElhattan Falls, beside Rosecrans Falls, is on that private land. View it only from the public side and do not climb on it or stand at its base.
