Conkles Hollow is a narrow gorge with sandstone cliffs nearly 200 feet high, with several seasonal waterfalls. From the preserve lot on Big Pine Road, follow the partly paved Gorge Trail along the valley floor to the falls at the head of the gorge, then return the same way. This listing is taken to be that falls, which some route sites call Lower Falls. The separate Rim Trail is a 2-mile loop along the cliff edge.
