Lower Buckeye Falls is the lower of two large waterfalls on Sharon Creek in the Sharon Woods gorge, a State Nature Preserve inside the county park at 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharonville. Enter the park from Kemper Road, drive 0.2 mile and turn left on Buckeye Falls Drive; trailhead parking is on the right just after crossing the dam. The Gorge Trail descends steeply at first to an overlook of the upper cascade, then levels through mature forest, crosses the creek on a high bridge, and passes an old bridge abutment. A rest area on the left then overlooks the lower waterfall, near the main park road where the trail ends. Return the same way, or take the fitness trail back up the hill.
