Horseshoe Falls is a wide, low drop on Flat Fork Creek in Caesar Creek State Park, best after rain. Park at the Flat Fork Ridge Recreation Area on Clarksville Road, past the emergency spillway and just before the dam and visitor center. The trailhead is off the main lot, with stairs down to the trail. The trail follows the lake, passes through the fossil-rich emergency spillway, then splits: one branch follows the inlet and the other climbs a ridge above it; they rejoin. The trail passes above the falls (a bench gives a view down on them) and crosses Flat Fork Creek on a suspension bridge; a path beyond leads to a view from the opposite bank and the remains of an old grist mill. Return the same way.
