Yellow Creek Falls is a waterfall about 15 to 30 feet high, with cascades below it, on Yellow Creek, a tributary of the Cheoah River. The legacy NC Waterfalls page says the falls are on private property but the public is welcome; Waterfall Hero says the land is protected by the National Wild Turkey Federation. From the gravel parking area at the trailhead sign, follow the obvious trail upstream beside the creek. After about 0.3 miles the trail leaves sight of the creek, then descends to a large boulder with a view of the falls. Scramble down to the left for more views. Return the same way.
