Swatling Falls is on McDonald Creek along the Swatling Falls Nature Trail, a short trail within a housing development in the Town of Halfmoon. From the lot, take the main trail to the right along a rough road into the woods; the falls are seen from above. Walking Man found it hard to get a good view from below. Trail markers continue uphill to a dead end on a small bluff. A paved second trail runs behind the houses and loops back to Swatling Road. No source says who manages the trail or the parking area.
