High Falls Gorge

Mini Falls is a 5-foot drop directly below the 35-foot Main Falls on the West Branch Ausable River in High Falls Gorge, a privately run attraction at 4761 NYS Route 86 between Wilmington and Lake Placid. Enter through the main lodge and buy a walk ticket. Walkways, stairs and bridges lead down through the gorge past Main Falls, Mini Falls, Rainbow Falls and Climax Falls.
