Emerald Pool Falls is the fifth of the seven Brook Walk waterfalls, in the lower half of the walk. The Brook Walk in the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area, owned by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust (LRCT), follows Shannon Brook past seven named waterfalls: Roaring Falls, Twin Falls, Whittier Falls, The Cascades, Emerald Pool Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Falls of Song. Enter the conservation area by Ossipee Park Road off NH Route 171 in Moultonborough, drive to the top of the hill and park in the hiker lot next to the LRCT kiosk. Walk across the field to the Brook Walk kiosk. The Brook Walk starts at the upper bridge over Shannon Brook below Shannon Pond and descends 0.3 miles past the seven waterfalls, then crosses the lower bridge and climbs steeply 0.2 miles to the Shannon Brook Trail. Emerald Pool Falls is in the lower part of the 0.3-mile section, above Bridal Veil Falls and Falls of Song. LRCT currently lists a closed section between the Turtleback Mountain Trail and the Brook Walk, and a closed section of the Shannon Brook Trail; the sources read do not show exactly where these are relative to the waterfalls. Follow posted signs.
