Drive south from Fort Kent on Route 161 (Caribou Road), turn right on Strip Road and right on Airport Road to a small lot at the end by a grass airstrip. A short woods trail leads down to Fish River Falls, a Class IV rapid. Paths along the river give views; there is a large campsite with a picnic table by the falls.
