Yucca Falls is the main drop on Yucca Creek, a small tributary of Rachael Creek in the Jocassee Gorges area, below Upper Yucca Falls. A visitor account describes the approach as entirely on public land: start at the gated Alewine Road on SC 11, walk Alewine Road to the Palmetto Trail, and follow the Palmetto Trail to where it crosses Yucca Creek. Leave the trail there and bushwhack downstream through fairly open forest to Upper Yucca Falls. From Upper Yucca Falls, a very steep scramble leads down to the main drop of Yucca Falls. There is no trail beyond the Palmetto Trail crossing. Return the same way.
