Reedy Branch Falls, also called Burson's Falls, is a 30-foot cascade over a wide rock ledge in Sumter National Forest. From Westminster, take US 76 west for 16 miles, pass Chattooga Ridge Road, and continue 0.2 mile to a parking area on the left beside a stone wall and a gate between stone pillars. SC Trails notes that the pillars and iron gate look like private property, but the land is public national forest, as a Forest Service stake inside the gate shows. Walk down the old roadbed about 600 feet. Just before it crosses Reedy Branch, turn left on a spur and follow it about 100 feet to the base of the falls. There is an open area at the base. Return the same way.
