Mashbox Falls is an 80-foot waterfall on a tributary of Oil Camp Creek, named for an old moonshine mash box near its base. The listing says there is no trail. Park on a narrow gravel road off US 276, walk back up to the highway and along the guardrail, then head down the mountain toward the sound of the falls on your left. If you reach Oil Camp Creek you are downstream of the falls; keep left and follow the creek upstream. A visitor account says the climb back up directly from the falls is steep and on loose ground, and that returning the way you came is safer.
