Salto Santa Clara is a tall waterfall into a pool ringed by steep rock walls, high in the mountains of Yauco. From Route 2 in Yauco, take Road 372 up into the mountains to a dead-end road with a few houses; the signed trailhead is at the end on the right, beside a swing. The trail starts as a downhill track, then a sign points to a smaller dirt path. Cross a small stream; at the larger river (the top of the falls), keep to the trail on the right. One very steep stretch has a steel cable to hold, and near the end you climb over rocks. This partial guide relies on a visitor account; parking is at the roadside by homes, and whether parking there is allowed is not stated.
