Mineral Spring Falls

About 2.1 miles each way

Mineral Spring Falls is a small, roughly 8 foot spring-fed waterfall in Sheyenne River State Forest near Fort Ransom. The North Dakota Forest Service describes it as the state's only waterfall. From the parking area just after the bridge over the Sheyenne River on 122nd Street, follow the blue-blazed Mineral Springs Trail, which is also part of the North Country Trail. It winds through forest and open areas for about 2 miles and ends at the falls. Return the same way.
