Bushkill Falls park, Red Trail up Pond Run past Bridal Veil Falls to the upper Bridesmaid Falls

Go Waterfalling gives a half-mile hike up Pond Run from the base of the main falls to Bridal Veil Falls and says one Bridesmaid Falls is a short distance upstream. No separate distance is given. The full Red Trail is almost 2 miles.

Boardwalks, steps and stairways in the gorge, then a natural footpath along Pond Run. The park says all trails involve steps and stairways.

Where to start

Main parking lot at Bushkill Falls, 138 Bushkill Falls Road, Bushkill, about 2 miles north of Route 209. Admission includes parking. Restrooms are in the corner of the parking lot.

Timing & water

The park is closed December through March. Hours vary by season, day of the week and weather; the park posts its schedule on its homepage. Pond Run is a small stream and can be thin in summer.

Before you go

Bushkill Falls is a privately owned attraction and charges admission. The park lists $24 general admission, with lower rates for seniors, active military, children and some local residents; children 3 and younger are free. Tickets can be bought on site or online.
