Waterfall Hero: Lower Letchworth Falls

Enter Letchworth State Park at the Castile entrance, bear right at the visitor center and follow Octagon Road to the parking at its end in the Lower Falls area. Turn right on the Gorge Trail for 0.3 miles to a split, then left on the Footbridge Trail, which goes down stone steps to the Genesee River at the 50-foot Lower Falls. Continue 0.2 miles to the footbridge for another view. Return the same way.
