Cantine Dam falls is where Esopus Creek drops over the historic Cantine Dam on the south side of the Village of Saugerties, at the foot of Hill Street. Entering Saugerties from the south on Route 9W (and 32), the falls are on your right as you cross the red bridge over the Esopus. The dam once powered Saugerties mills. The town also says there are good views from the Cantine Mills Hotel and the balcony of the BLACKBARN restaurant, which are private businesses.
