The falls is on private land. Public access is for viewing only, from two roped-off viewing points. An older description says the path to the falls starts at a pay box to the right of the restaurant. Do not go down to the falls or the river.

Where to start
At the Snake Falls Sportsman Club, about 0.6 miles west on the Snake Falls road from NE 97, which is about 22.5 miles south of US 20 in Valentine.
