Follow the brown hiker signs along Jonesville Mine Road to the rough upper parking area described by Lisa Maloney. Her 2019 route walks roughly 1,000 feet farther along the rough road to a signed left-hand cul-de-sac and footpath. Follow the hiking trail, turn right at the T junction she places about 2.75 miles from the trailhead, then continue ahead at the next junction into the valley toward the falls. Upper Eska trailhead parking to Eska Creek Falls
The 8.3-mile return describes Maloney’s upper-parking outing, not a start at the lower Jonesville Mine Road pull-off. She says parking at road mile 2.5 adds about 1.75 miles EACH WAY. The borough page does not provide a full-route distance; do not merge different starts or segment lengths.

Where to start
Lisa Maloney documents upper trailhead parking reached on rough Jonesville Mine Road; vehicle clearance can prevent reaching it. She separately describes an off-road pull-off at mile 2.5 that adds a longer road walk. Do not block the roadway or enter signed private property. Current road passability is unverified.
Timing & water
The current borough page is marked open. Maloney gives May–October as a typical hiking season, not a guarantee that the rough road or upper trail is clear.
Before you go
Maloney’s 2019 guide lists no parking fee; a current fee confirmation was not available from the borough page.
